StudioLayer is a product of Justmade (Amerstraat 106, 3200 Aarschot, Belgium). We build StudioLayer with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are under the GDPR.
1. Who is responsible
Justmade, Amerstraat 106, 3200 Aarschot, Belgium is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and the StudioLayer waitlist. Questions: hello@justmade.be.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist signups: your email address and, if you provide it, your name and company. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- Contact by email: whatever you send us. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you (art. 6.1.f).
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
- Analytics: with your consent we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to measure anonymous site usage (page views, referrers). Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a), given via the cookie banner and revocable at any time. See the Cookie Policy.
We do not run advertising trackers, fingerprinting or cross-site marketing analytics on this website.
3. What we use it for
- Keeping you informed about the StudioLayer beta and launch (waitlist).
- Responding to questions and investor enquiries.
- Keeping the website secure and available.
We never sell personal data. We never share it with third parties for marketing.
4. How long we keep it
- Waitlist data: until launch plus 12 months, or until you unsubscribe - whichever comes first.
- Email correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request, max. 24 months.
- Server logs: max. 30 days.
5. Processors
We use a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) inside the EU or covered by adequate safeguards (SCCs). A current list is available on request.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time (every waitlist email contains an unsubscribe link). Mail hello@justmade.be and we respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top always reflects the latest version, and material changes will be announced to waitlist subscribers.
